BIOGRAPHY
Hello, I'm Alix! A voiceactor based in the Midlands UK, with my own Pro Home Studio. I am GFTB trained. I have on-going training with Tanya Rich and others from the Richcraft Team and have previously taken workshops with Dian Perry on character creation. I have a BA HONS in Television and Creative Writing, I greatly consider dramatic structure, scripts, pace and timing.

| Character Voices | I have always been very observant of people around me (and moving house nearly 20 times!) has fuelled my enjoyment and creativity in taking on peoples entire persona. I love 'becoming' that other person and performing them using all their manorisms. |

TRAINING
| Introduction To Voiceover with The Showreel & Character Animation with Yvonne Morley | Back in 2017 my voiceover journey began attending Intro to Voiceover at The Showreel in Soho. I learnt about the basics of voiceover, taking part in tasks and activities learning about mic positioning, my signature voice and recording commercials. Over a three day workshop I learnt about mouth work, tongue placement, breathing, body positioning, how to keep voice and vocal folds in good health, and learning how to manipulate my voice and impersonate others. |
| Character Voice for animation, stage and screen with Dian Perry at City Lit | I learnt how to create characters from just pictures or just a small brief. How to warm up correctly. Getting to know the characters I created and sustaining them. Script work and reading with a group, along with ADR training. |
| Voiceover Training with Gravy for the Brain | I am an active member of Gravy for the Brain which continually teaches and guides me on my voice over journey. I have completed various modules from Character Acting, to creating Commercial reels. I have gained more knowledge on using Adobe Audtion and I have a much better and more detalied understanding of the editing and recording process. |
