| Literature, language and proofreading | I have a First Class BA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Warwick, and take a professional-level interest in everything to do with words. I have worked professionally as a proofreader, and have a sound understanding of pronunciation, syntax and grammar, as well as an understanding of cadence and delivery from my actor training. I have also studied French, German, Spanish and Russian, and have a good grasp of pronunciation in all of these languages. Finally, I have studied archaic and ancient texts at degree level, so dense narratives, technical terms, and verse don't scare me at all! |
