BIOGRAPHY
Paul Cree is a poet, rapper, storyteller, actor, voice-over and co-founder of hip-hop theatre company Beats & Elements. He’s performed around the UK at a variety of festivals and events such as Bestival, Lattitude and The Edinburgh Fringe. His work has featured on BBC 1Xtra and BBC London. He has written and performed two solo shows; A Tale From The Bedsit (2013) and The C/D Borderline (2016) as well as co-writing and performing in the critically acclaimed Beats & Elements shows, No Milk For The Foxes (2015) and the recently run High Rise eState Of Mind (2019.) In 2018 he published his debut collection of poems and stories, entitled The Suburban, with Burning Eye Books and his plays have been published by Methuen Drama in a Hip Hop Theatre Trilogy (2022)

Poet / Spoken Word Artist | I have worked professionally as a poet / spoken word artist since 2010. Beatboxer | I started beatboxing who loved the drums. I began incorporating this into my performances when I started working with the BAC Beatbox Academy in 2011, who I've performed extensively with.
