BIOGRAPHY
Having trained as an actor, I have spent much of my career of almost half a century bringing other people's words to life either on stage or in a recording studio. I work across all genres but specialise in audiobooks. I have a high quality home studio, my pipes are in good working order and are available for hire.

SKILLS
| Acting | I was a scholarship acting student at Guildhall School of Music and Drama studying classical acting - I spent fourteen years treading the boards in Repertory Theatres, in London and the West End playing in the classics, Strinberg, Ibsen, Chekov, Shakespeare - to Agatha Christie, Alan Aykbourne and in Panto. I studied microphone technique as part of my training and bring my performance and technical skills together as a voice actor. |
| Production | Having married and had a family I moved from theatre to television, initially as a presenter, but then as a programme researcher and ultimately as a programme producer, being a staff producer at ITV Midlands for seven years making documentaries inclulding several long running series, 'Waterworld', '50 Years of ...' and 'Top to Toe. I also voiced over 50 broadcast documentaries. The technical skills I learned at ITV combine with my acting skills come together perfectly when working on Audiobooks in particular. |

TRAINING
| Guildhall School of Music and Drama | 2 year performer's course. Graduating in 1969 with the equivalent of a masters. Training was classical acting and voice training, plus microphone technique and singing. |
