Hi, I'm Jonathan, a VO artist living and working from Peterborough UK. I have been a singer for 3 decades, and now I am using my voice in a new way - to tell your story. By day I work in IT, which means I come to voiceover with a stronger technical foundation than most - I understand audio editing, signal chain, and what a clean, broadcast-ready file actually looks like. I'm as comfortable in Adobe Audition as I am in front of the mic... Turnaround is reliable. If the brief is unusual or the tone is specific, so much the better. My voice sits naturally in the bass register with a neutral RP British accent - authoritative without being stiff, warm without being saccharine. I work across commercial, corporate narration, e-learning, documentary, audiobooks, and meditation and wellbeing content. If you need someone to make insurance sound interesting, whisky sound poetic, or a breathing exercise sound like it was written just for you - that's the territory. A low voice is often cast for gravitas. I'm comfortable there, but equally at home in conversational retail spots, intimate wellbeing scripts, or the kind of audiobook narration that needs to hold a listener for hours without fatigue.
