BIOGRAPHY
JULIANA VALENTE is an actor, singer, composer, and theater director originally from Spring, Texas. Recent work includes the role of Vanda in VENUS IN FUR at UCPAC and the Emcee/Madame at the Olympia Art Performance Installation at Tribeca Film Center. Her work has been seen locally and internationally at Nutley Little Theater, Rhino Theater, Edison Valley Playhouse, Montclair Operetta Club, Stony Hill Players, Grand Tetons Music Festival, Opera Fresca, Festa Lyrica Italiana, Salzburger Festspiele, Symphony Space, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Houston Classical Symposium. She teaches private voice, piano, music theory, and acting in Durham, NC, Pompton Lakes, NJ and NYC, and is on the roster at New York Lyric Opera Theater. She was thrilled to direct William Finn's A NEW BRAIN this fall!
