BIOGRAPHY
I come from a professional acting background, with lead role experience in film, TV and theatre. My voice credits including recording audiobooks for Audible and AudioGo Ltd ( the former home of BBC audio). I have often recorded with thestoryplayer.com; I’ve voiced animations with CBBC online, recorded corporate videos, e-learning projects, educational video and documentary narration. I work in both my natural RP voice, character voices and educated Australian, (where I lived for 24 years).

Acting | After training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, I worked in both the UK and Australia as an actor in theatre, TV and film. TRAINING
Associate of The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London (Professional Acting Course) | I had a classical, (theatre-based) training as an actor from 1973-1977. Classes included the history of theatre, practical voice, movement and dance, radio drama, and rehearsals for the main programme of theatre performance. |
The National Youth Theatre | I was a member of the National Youth Theatre (London) for a season before training at drama school. The company devised and performed The Petticoat Rebellion, with a season at The Shaw Theatre, London. |
Voiceover training with independent tutors and Gravy for the Brain. | I attend regular general voice classes with Nic Redman, which have included character voice skills, vocal warm-ups and sight reading.
