Hola, I'm Mariana Barbera, a Mexican female VoiceOver artist and actor based in the UK. I am bilingual in neutral Spanish and in English with a Latin/Mexican or, simply, a global flavour. My VoiceOver style is naturally conversational, making it relatable and engaging. I've had the privilege of creating characters for the stage, film/video, and radio for over 30 years, and my voice has been described as warm, clear, inspiring, vibrant, rich, and round. I love what I do, and I believe that my passion and dedication shows through in every project I take on. TRAINING
| I trained in the prestigious Drama and Performing Academy of the National Autonomous University in Mexico City (Centro Universitario de Teatro, CUT, UNAM). I currently train at Screen Acting East Yorkshire in the UK. | |
| VoiceOver training at Gravy for the Brain | I have completed GFTB courses on voice acting, how to voice commercials, voiceover for gaming, character acting for voice over, how to self direct, home recording studio and how to voice e-Learning. As well as that I have had and continue to have live mentorship at GFTB from recognised professionals such as Hugh Edwards, Peter Dixon, Toby Ricketts, Rona Fletcher, Brenda Coello, Patricio Bautista, Juan Carlos Hernandez Babic, Dessiree Hernandez, Marlon Rosales, Cesar Phernan and Rob Bee. I have also attended voice delivery workshops with Nic Redman and singer Annie Kirkman from She Productions. |
