BIOGRAPHY

I attended the University of Mississippi where I majored in History and met my beloved wife, the mother of my two delightful children. After three years of working as a teacher, ten in the wine and spirits industry, and another eight as a salesman: I decided to follow my bliss and return to my performing roots. I currently spend my time recording audiobooks, cooking, and playing a monthly Dungeons & Dragons game at the local pub.

Description of voice: My voice is a smooth, and rather professorial baritone. My standard spoken accent is very softly southern accented. I can easily sharpen it to a midwestern "flat" or passable northern accent; or soften it to accentuate the drawl into a Mississippian, tidewater Virginian, Texan, or Georgian accent.

TRAINING

Virginia Commonwealth University As a BFA candidate I took classes in Acting, Dance, Costume construction, and Set construction. The program was oriented towards theater performance, rather than voice acting, but the education is useful across genres and improvement of acting abilities is directly applicable.
Gravy For the Brain Ongoing consumption of webinars, videos, and interaction with coaches and community with the goal of improving performance and professional output.
Universal Voice Coaching One on one training with Terry Daniels et. al. on performance, methods, professional tactics, etc.
