SKILLS
Period Drama | Able to sustain an authentic Old English RP accent for period drama pieces and adopt a particular posture/mannerism to reflect this time. |
Acting for Camera | Able to perform effectively on camera; using small and subtle movements to portray truthfulness to a high standard. |
Singing | Able to connect to musical theatre songs from musicals such as Waitress, The Witches of Eastwick etc and perform them to a high standard, using breath and tone effectively. |
Children's Theatre | With plenty of experience performing for children, I am able to adapt my acting skills for particular age groups, performing fairytales such as Hansel & Gretel, Goldilocks etc. Yet still maintaining a level of sophistication suitable for teachers who may be engaging in the show. |

TRAINING
Acting School | I trained for a BA in American Theatre Arts at one of London's most prestigious drama schools, Rose Bruford. The course was a 3 year programme which improved my skills in theatre acting, acting for camera, voice, movement and many other aspects. |
Improvisation | I spent a semester in North Carolina, USA, where I took classes in acting improvisation. I was able to think on my feet, accept whatever other actors were throwing at me, and take initiative. |
Acting Through Song | I took classes in Acting Through Song, which is a way of looking at musical theatre from a different perspective. Rather than worry about reaching certain high notes, I was taught to find the feeling in the song first, and the notes will come. It allowed to me to think through my thoughts as I'm performing. |
Laban Efforts | I took classes in the eight Laban efforts which is a movement based principle. I discovered the use of incorporating direction, speed, weight and flow into my character development. This helped me to ensure that my characters are 3D and well-rounded. |
